The proprietor at Big Shot Photography Studio is Colin and the studio is managed by both Colin and Darryl who share a similar love and passion for photography, They are both professional photographers, who's shared love of photography led them to team up together and create a studio space that would both enhance their own creativity and work, and offer other photographers and models a creative space to work and learn from. In the studio there are 6 x 500w Bowens light heads with universal triggers and receivers. There is a wide selection of modifiers from strip boxes, beauty dishes, Octo boxes, reflectors, umbrellas and barn doors. There are honeycombs and gels allowing for a variety of lighting set ups. There are boom arm stands along with c-stands, there are low stands and standard size stands, catering for all heights. There is a smoke and wind machine to get creative with. There is also a rope facility attached to the steel trusses, great for hanging rope and gymnastic poses. The height in the studio makes it ideal for shooting jumping, dancing or martial arts style shots.The atmosphere in the studio is very informal and relaxed and the design of the studio allows for work to flow easily from one set to another.
A great creative space
Big Shot Photography Studio is a great creative photography studio for hire and is housed at the top of a 16th Century building on the High Street in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. The main studio area has high vaulted ceilings with 600 square foot of open shooting space. Within the studio space there are several sets to shoot in, ranging from a 70's set. to a boudoir set, to a grungy lounge set, low key set, colonial set and various others. All sets can be added to and moved around and are all interchangeable. There are also large Victorian sash windows to allow for use of natural light into the studio. There is a separate changing room/make up room with wardrobe and make up lighting, There is a toilet with wash facilities and a separate kitchen with free refreshments, teas and coffee's are always on tap.
